Matt Dawson feeds a Wasps scrum
It was an interesting match, but a rather disappointing one from a Leicester view. Having beaten Wasps three times in the season and drawing the other game, even retiring captain and World Cup winner, Martin Johnson, thought that they should have won it. But an opening 7 minutes in which Wasps scored 13 points really stopped Leicester having any chance of a win. In the end, Wasps took the Championship and deservedly so.
