We know Australians love their beer and wouldn’t give a ‘XXXX’ for anything else. So we’re not surprised that even when stranded after a flood, an Australian town received plenty of beer as part of their emergency supplies.
Australian Associated Press reports that 12 kegs and three crates of beer were supplied to the town of Hinton, New South Wales, were delivered by the State Emergency Services after the town was hit by floods on Sunday. And they acknowledge it was just in time for the big Rugby League match.
