In the middle of such mayhem in life, it seems time has paused a little bit and I’ve struggled to think this week what I could write on my blog. Looking around, things are a little bit boring. Like the Conservative Party leadership contest, really.
But there are things on the horizon to celebrate. Firstly, Paloma, one of the happiest thoughts during any of my days, finally leaves behind her “trainee solicitor” status and qualifies! Congratulations!
And, of course, Clare gets married next weekend – the first of my friends’ weddings that I shall attend. Congratulations, Clare, hope the preparations are going really well!
So, whilst my life pauses, lots go on around me. And it’s just a pleasure sometimes to watch it all go by.
