E-mail disclaimers. They can be short, or they can be very looooooong… Well, I spotted OOO (out of office) e-mails recently that took the mickey. Kevin, my flatmate who works for accountants, Ernst & Young, leads the word count with 258, whilst Peihao, who works for UBS, is a close second with 231 words. Scary, since the important bits of their e-mails were only a sentence each.
Anyway, compiling now a league table of long disclaimers. Take a look, and if you know of any others that deserve a mention, get in touch!
Following an e-mail from Kevin, Clifford Chance now makes it to number 2 in the table, just eight words short of E&Y
