Back to what my blog is for… Wishing people happy birthdays! Paloma’s it was this weekend, although she’s apparently had three now, including on Sunday night organised by yours truly.
It must have been a surreal weekend for Paloma. A Friday night birthday party into the early hours of Saturday morning, jump on a plane Saturday evening, arrive in London Sunday morning, immediately travel up to Bicester for a shopping trip, back to London on Sunday for her birthday dinner, and training on Monday.
Surreal it was – it was tiring for me – and yet, shockingly, unlike last year when she left Burberry with four bags, she left this time without buying a thing! Looks like the impending Burberry IPO looks in danger now one of their regular customers isn’t spending as much!
Anyway, i’m very glad to see Paloma back in London. Shame it’s going to be too short! Anyone else from HK want to pop over sometime?
