A very quick post today whilst I have a moment…
* MEMORIES OF MY FIRST CASE *
I’ve been chuffed to bits over the last three days. The Financial Times has been publishing a series of articles over the last 3 days on Marconi, the telecommunications equipment manufacturer that had a torrid time from 2001 and has since bounced back with some great success. Well, that was my first case at L.E.K. Consulting and it will always be in my memory as we worked pretty hard to turn the company around. Not only was a new management team brought in at the time, but they were also new clients too for L.E.K. And within six months of initial work we had delivered it a new business plan that convinced investors to keep it afloat.
Anyway it was nice to see L.E.K. mentioned in the articles. And not bad for a first case, eh?
* MORE OLD RECOLLECTIONS: BUFFLY *
I was looking at my webstats the other day and came across a referral to my site from Teik Wynn Tee’s website. For those who don’t know, Teik Wynn was our lead actor in The Butterfly Lovers (or ‘Buffly’ as I used to call it!), and he managed to find the link to my site. Well, Teik Wynn, as I mentioned in a comment on your site, I will never forget your dance with Amy at the end! Nice to see your site!
More words hopefully this weekend, after a housewarming at another Buffly veteran’s house, Kevin!
