I’ve disappeared for a while, I know. It’s really a mix of too much work and holiday really.
Last week was a week in Scotland, visiting the Edinburgh Fringe Festival before driving around the rest of Scotland. Lessons learnt from the fringe: firstly, the free events do sometimes end up being better than the paid ones (our attendance at the diabolical performance of The Innuendo Show a lowlight of the festival); and secondly don’t trst women to buy tickets to a show for you (thanks, Maki, for taking us to Puppetry Of The Penis – enough said).
And following a trip round to Dufftown, Dornock, John O’Groats, Thurso, Durness, Ullapool, Isle of Skye, Fort William, Glencoe and Glasgow, it’s all been both beautiful and hectic. But well worth it!
Now though, I’m in Hong Kong. And after a quiet birthday drink with Teddy and Karen, it’s a fun week to come, including a first international Lindy hop visit, as I drop by a regular event run by Karen at HK Swings! Really looking forward to it!
