It’s funny how the small things can make such a huge different. Half the people in the office had a smile on their face this morning, because a man was outside the office building handing out chocolates and a postcard. (I say half, because the others probably came in through the back entrance).
Anyway, for a change no one was complaining about the lifts being slow even though we had to wait the obligatory two minutes for one of them.
So what was the purpose of the chocolate? Aside from the fact that it was a Comic Relief branded Fairtrade chocolate, the postcard was publicising Bankside (the area around the Tate Modern and Borough Market), and telling us to "Get Out More". Having bribed us with chocolate, maybe we just will…
