As a blogger, I have no right to say anything virtuous about my writing. This is just a site (like any other blog) for venting some random and eclectic musings on the wider world.
However, should you be impressed / interested / entranced / appalled / disgusted by what I’ve written then I must admit that I will be somewhat flattered by your response. After all, most of the time I don’t know what effect my writing has on my small number of readers.
I’ll leave you with a thought about my greatest public achievement to date:
In 1999, I appeared on the Channel 4 TV programme, Countdown, as a contestant. I continue to hold the record for the shortest winning word in a letters round, “RUN”.
