Goodbye, Momofuku Ando

"Who?" you might ask, but he invented something that every one of us have enjoyed and relied upon for many years.

Momofuku Ando was the inventor of the instant noodle in 1958, and founded Nissin Foods Products Co, who have since manufactured billions of packets and cups of the quick foodstuff. Highly revered, they even made an instant ramen museum and named it after him.

Ando died of a heart attack earlier this week aged 96. I’m sure everyone will join in to pay respects to a genius who has changed everyone’s life.
