Still dreaming...
Hello Walkers
Botswana was fantastic and I'm still thinking about it all the time. Today, after Madelyn sent out the e-mail addresses of everyone in the group, we've had a flurry of e-mails, filled with everyone's memories of the trip and of each other - we had a fantastic group of people travelling together, who were as much part of the amazing trip as the animals we saw in the wild. Such as Selwyn and Jose. (Just kidding!)
Anyway, a big hello to everyone on the World Expeditions Botswana Walking Safari. I promise photos will be here soon.
Too Many to Count
Well, 800 photos in the end, not 500. Really underestimated that. But I'm sure I didn't do that well. Kent, our fully-kitted photographer, apparently took 3,000 photos. I need to get a better camera!
I have now whittled them down to 150 great photos, however, and hopefully, I'll start to have time to compile them into webpages soon.
Happy Birthday, Annie
It was Annie's birthday at the weekend. And as a birthday present we moved her into my new flat. Well, that wasn't really the present. But she does get to stay for a while - a token of my appreciation for her hard work painting my flat!
Anyway, dinner at Ubon and the next day a party in Regent's Park with Janet, Feifei and Alison, we celebrated in style (I wonder what onlookers thought of our picnic...?).
Next week, my housewarming...
